From its humble beginnings as King's Bounty, through three full editions, a truckload of expansions, and a smorgasbord of user-made maps, the series has come full circle. That's easy to answer :-(. Nubisoft doesn't value Heroes of Might and Magic 4. They want to create simple games. It takes an analytical mind to appreciate the strategic depth of Heroes IV. I think Nubisoft simply lacks that. Heroes 7 has taken core aspects of heroes 3 and even improved on some of them using the best functions that we loyal (and disappointed) fans have seen in the flops that were 4,5 and 6. In constrast to the average review out there, my opinion is they succeeded fairly well at bringing back the old h3 spirit and the game definitely beats 4,5 and 6 tRypA.
