Holidays on Ice was one of the few Sedaris books I hadn't gotten around to reading yet, so the new 2008 edition seemed like a good excuse to check it out. Well, that and the fact that both Nathan and Genie recommended it as a favorite over dinner on MLK weekend.

Not my favorite Sedaris, although it does include a reprint of one of my favorite essays - "Six to Eight Black Men." Clearly just a bottle book to flog to the holiday market. Still, its David Sedaris and that is always a good thing.
